Sam – London Marathon with a Brain Tumour

When I found out from Brain Tumour Research that I had a London Marathon place, suddenly the realisation of the task ahead was overwhelming.  I have a brain tumour and I was, apart from the odd run, a non-runner. After the all clear from my consultant to run, I knew the training would have to be carefully managed, and I was incredibly thankful to be introduced to Lee. He was with me every step of the way, my low days, my high days when I could take on the world, he kept me where I needed to be and I am now so proud to call myself a London Marathon Runner. I was an experience that will stay with me forever.  Thanks Lee.
