Stuart – London Landmarks HM

Having Lee’s support and guidance whilst I trained for my first half marathon turned out to be a real learning experience.

Up to this point I had only ever run 5k and 10k training runs, so getting to Half Marathon level I really wanted to do it properly and enjoy the process. Lee helped me with accurate training, so I knew what I was doing was actually right for me. He helped to build up my strength and stamina, and taught me about my aerobic capacity, which was all new to me.

I am busy with family and a job that includes a lot of travel, but Lee was so good with adapting things to suit my schedule. It was not something I had considered before, but so glad that was taken care of.

My goal was to be able to complete a 12 week training block without getting injured, and improve my ability to up the distance to half marathon. I had a time in mind, but I was very relaxed about that, it was more about completing it and enjoying the whole experience.

Overall with Lee’s guidance I comfortably achieved my training and race goals, but also got the added bonus of learning about my heart rate and aerobic fitness to use for future runs. I would not hesitate to recommend Lee to anybody irrespective of the distance or the target you might have.  I look forward to next training block and race day.
